ESG Data Analyst (Part-Time)
Location: Flexible/Remote (with quarterly meet-ups in London, Luxembourg, Copenhagen, or Paris)
Commitment: 3 days per week (with flexibility for more, if desired)
Our client is a pan-European mid-market private equity firm with a strong commitment to Responsible Investment (RI). ESG is at the heart of their investment strategy.
The Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented ESG Data Analyst to join their small but passionate ESG team. You’ll work closely with their ESG Impact Lead and a senior advisor, helping manage the critical data-gathering and reporting cycle that underpins their ESG efforts.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working with complex datasets and spreadsheets, thrives in a structured annual reporting cycle, and wants to be part of a supportive and purpose-driven investment environment.
Responsibilities
- Collect and manage ESG KPIs from portfolio companies
- Liaise directly with CEOs and senior leaders to follow up on data submissions
- Maintain and validate large datasets
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of data, particularly for LP reporting across various ESG sophistication levels (from non-ESG American LPs to Article 9-aligned asset owners)
- Strong data management and spreadsheet skills
- High attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy
- Confident communicator
- Self-starter who can manage their own time and work independently
- Numerate and analytical—comfortable dealing with metrics, trends, and raw data
- Experience with ESG is a bonus, but not essential. This is a data-first role.
Working Environment
- Part-time (3 days/week), with potential for increased hours
- Remote-friendly, with quarterly in-person meetups
- Supportive, encouraging culture
