Group CFO – Impact Investment Group, London or Dubai
We're looking for a Group CFO to take charge of finance at an impact-led international investment group, based in London or Dubai. It's a hands-on role for someone who wants to build: consolidated group reporting, a single finance platform and the controls a growing, multi-jurisdiction business needs in front of its board, lenders and investors.
About the business
Our client is an established international investment group with impact at the centre of how it invests. It operates across several regulated jurisdictions and is in a period of significant growth, which makes this a pivotal hire. You'll report directly to the Chair.
What you'll do
Take ownership of group finance from day one: cash visibility, a rolling 13-week forecast and clear decision rights
Build a proper monthly close and consolidated P&L, balance sheet and cash flow across a multi-entity group
Select and implement a single finance platform across the group, replacing manual spreadsheet work with reporting that runs itself
Reconcile revenue and client data to the ledger and give the business clear profitability reporting by team and region
Tidy up intercompany accounting and the group's entity structure, jurisdiction by jurisdiction
Produce the monthly board dashboard and the lender and investor pack, and present them yourself
Lead a small in-house team and an outsourced finance and accounting provider, raising the standard of both
What you'll bring
A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
Senior finance leadership in wealth management, asset management or investment banking, with a real understanding of how the business makes money
Experience of an international, multi-entity group, ideally across several regulators
A track record of building consolidated reporting from a fragmented, manual starting point
Personal leadership of a finance systems or platform implementation
The credibility to present to a board, lenders and investors every month
Also useful:
Experience of integration, stabilisation or turnaround work in a growing group
Experience working across several international markets
Exposure to impact or sustainable investment businesses

You won't inherit a large department; you'll shape the finance operating model, choose the technology and decide how the work gets done. Location and working pattern
London or Dubai, with regular travel between the two and to regional offices. The role is permanent. For an exceptional candidate who can start immediately, an interim start converting to permanent will also be considered.
