Impact & Sustainability Fund – Interim Head of Sales
We have been asked by a boutique asset manager to help find someone to support their strategic growth.
Of their funds, most were top quartile, and many were top decile. Despite this, their subs are relatively flat, despite having a good pipeline. While they recognise the market is tough, they think there is an opportunity to optimise their sales team and raise assets by finding a brilliant candidate who can add value. This is a new job, and they are working their way through the optimal hire.
This would look like a candidate who is good at setting sales structure, data, process flows, adding a bit of positivity and certainty to their operations.
They have a people in the UK, Europe and Middle East.
Their current client base is wholesale, and they would love a candidate with experience of selling smaller funds through the intermediary network.
They are thinking to start on an interim basis over six months, and it made lead to something longer, if the person adds enough value, and it's a great fit both ways.
Comp is open to discussion, but the upside will be targeted. There will be an agreement on net inflows, and that will be the target. If you hit that you will get 100%, if you hit 50% you get 50% bonus etc.
