Offshore wind confidence boost → @UKGov extended Contracts for Difference to 20 years and added a £544M Clean Industry Bonus—helping projects get built and shoring up the UK’s 2030 clean energy goals. Reuters
£500M into battery storage → The @NationalWealthFund, @AwareSuper, and @Equitix announced a joint investment into developer Eelpower. Projects will power ~240k homes and accelerate UK storage capacity toward 1 GW. FT

$27B Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund → Part of the Inflation Reduction Act, this fund is now channeling capital into community solar and clean energy equity—bringing power + $2B savings to 700k+ low-income households.
Sustainable bonds powering growth → Despite political headwinds, the sustainable bond market is on track to reach $1T in 2025, with the US still leading issuance.
Sustainable Indigenous Finance Initiative (SIFI) → Launched by @FirstPeoplesWorldwide and @US_SIF, SIFI provides tools and case studies to embed Indigenous rights, cultural values, and environmental justice into investment.
