Job Description:

The successful candidate needs to have an active role in the RI community to enable the business to achieve their Responsible Investment (RI) ambitions set by the Board. This will be done through the development of strategic polices as well as the development and implementation of reporting to key stakeholders. The incumbent will be the lead RI individual for their approach into all aspects of the investment portfolio, including strategy, implementation and oversight.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience in stewardship to develop and implement engagement plans 

• Pension scheme governance knowledge

• Understand investment decisions throughout the investment decision making process

• Experience of engaging with regulatory bodies

• Understanding and influencing policy decisions

• Able to articulate and tailor investment strategy direction

• Experience in incorporating financial and non-financial ESG considerations 

• Knowledgeable around responsible investment, ethical investment, sustainable investment and impact
