Our client is a responsible long-term investor managing a diverse portfolio of assets in the UAE and abroad.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will support the development, implementation and continual evolution of the Responsible Investment policy and framework and to enable the assessment and management of ESG-related risks and opportunities.
Participate in internal Sustainability-related initiatives alignment the Responsible Investment Policy.
Engage with external stakeholders and support with the development and implementation of Responsible Investment reporting.
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in Private Equity, investment banking or consulting preferred, similar extensive and diverse corporate experience also acceptable
Experience across asset classes and sectors
Experience in mature and emerging ESG markets
Strong knowledge ESG Due-Diligence approaches
Excellent ESG and investment research skills
Strong knowledge of international reporting standards (UNGC / SDG, GRI, SASB, TCFD, CDP, UNPRI) and ESG rating methodologies (e.g. MSCI, Sustainalytics, ISS ESG, RobecoSAM, Vigeo).
Strong knowledge of Asset performance monitoring and engagement.
Strong influencing and communication capabilities
Ability to report and influence leadership and senior executive level.
Experienced people leader with strong capabilities in managing and developing people.
Skilled trainer to develop the ESG fluency and risk management capability
