Job Description:
The Head of Sustainability will lead the development and delivery of the Sustainability and ESG strategy and action plan to:
meet the ESG regulatory requirements
align all ESG activity with their commercial strategy
serve stakeholders’ needs
support and future proof growth ambitions;
support sustainability commitments
Minimum Requirements:
Member of the Sustainability Committee and Climate and others, contributing to strategy and actions where applicable, and leading appropriate workstreams.
Work with the business to ensure sustainability and ESG is fully integrated into policies.
Collaborate with internal Risk teams, Financial Crime, Business Change.
Internal and External Reporting.
Marketing and Communications Manager on the Sustainability Report and Sustainability ESG.
Lead on the Companies reporting against ESG information requests from clients, ratings agencies as well as voluntary reporting.
Sustainability Communications work with Marketing and Comms Manager to ensure their communication of Sustainability.
Manage, develop and track a sustainability and ESG scorecard with with annual targets for People and Planet.
Engagement and training: ensuring that the Board, Senior Management and all employees are upskilled on ESG topics.
Lead on strategy and plan to ensure Company delivers on its ‘Planet’ Goal to become a Net Zero business by 2050.
Aligned with our regulatory requirements, create, manage and implement Transition Plan and Pathway to Net Zero 2050.
and ensure Marex reports on robust and verified progress in partnership with OxCarbon and GMT.
At all times complying with the FCA’s and the companies Code of Conduct Engage and collaborate with industry groups to shape and influence industry standards.
