Responsible investing - Vice president

Our client is a responsible long-term investor managing a diverse portfolio of assets in the UAE and abroad.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will support the development, implementation and continual evolution of the Responsible Investment policy and framework and to enable the assessment and management of ESG-related risks and opportunities.

Participate in internal Sustainability-related initiatives alignment the Responsible Investment Policy.

Engage with external stakeholders and support with the development and implementation of Responsible Investment reporting.

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in Private Equity, investment banking or consulting preferred, similar extensive and diverse corporate experience also acceptable
• Experience across asset classes and sectors
• Experience in mature and emerging ESG markets
• Strong knowledge ESG Due-Diligence approaches
• Excellent ESG and investment research skills
• Strong knowledge of international reporting standards (UNGC / SDG, GRI, SASB, TCFD, CDP, UNPRI) and ESG rating methodologies (e.g. MSCI, Sustainalytics, ISS ESG, RobecoSAM, Vigeo).
• Strong knowledge of Asset performance monitoring and engagement.
• Strong influencing and communication capabilities
• Ability to report and influence leadership and senior executive level.
• Experienced people leader with strong capabilities in managing and developing people.
• Skilled trainer to develop the ESG fluency and risk management capability
