Through responsible and ethical management of the Church of England’s permanent endowment fund, with a diverse investment portfolio. This has enabled them to provide financial support for the Church, and to ensure funding is intentionally used for mission and growth.
Job Description:
As a lead on the team, the successful candidate will be tasked with assisting the running of the RI function and delivering against the RI policies, taking ownership of the stewardship efforts on nature and climate issues.
Leading the expansion of programmes on climate and nature issues including biodiversity and natural capital.
Supporting management of relationships with the media, internal and external stakeholders is also a key part of the role, alongside representing the business at public events and panels.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum 8-10 years’ track record in ESG issues
- Commercial knowledge on Environmental, Nature and or Climate issues, gained in investor or plc
- Demonstrated ability to deliver on strategic objectives, with tangible outcomes
- Experience communicating in public forums, both written and in person
- Solid understanding of ESG issues in the investor landscape
- Clear and persuasive written and oral communication; track record of being able to influence change
- Excellent inter-personal, management and leadership skills
- Highly organised with the ability to handle and prioritise multiple tasks with tight deadlines
- Excellent qualitative and quantitative research skills
- Able to grasp and analyse complex issues on a wide range of subject matters
