The job market within sustainability and across the industry can be hard to navigate. Farrell Associates is often asked by jobseekers how to best apply for roles they see advertised.

The recruitment process can be frustrating and confusing, particularly for those people at the earlier stages of their careers.

In this brand-new podcast series, Steph and Matt will distil their combined 40+ years’ of experience in recruitment into easy-to-digest episodes designed to give practical hints and tips to demystify the process.

Matt has a career spanning a range of industries and job functions from within search and selection, agency and in-house. Steph’s career journey began in financial services and has also covered search and selection in addition to the sustainability industry.

Each episode will tackle a different aspect of recruitment, from preparing for interviews and writing a CV to doing an excellent pre-recorded video interview.

The episodes will be just c.20mins each, short enough for the bus ride home, but in-depth enough to give you a genuine ‘behind the curtains’ look at how decisions are made, how to avoid common pitfalls and above all else, how give yourself the very best chance of success in an increasingly competitive world.
